Exegesis: Epilogue
Apr. 8th, 2006 | 05:56 pm
I am victorious, though a day late. Take that, Ephesians.
Also: I have some money and, therefore, food now. Which is not to say that I have not been eating for the last week, just that I have been eating only apples and a spare lunch kit I found in a box under my bed (non-perishable! non-perishable!) and frozen blocks of broccoli and the little box of cookies which my roommate forced me to take and for which she will not let me repay her, grrrrrrrr. And also a Quaker banana bread breakfast bar, but it turned out my tongue was allergic to that, or something -- just, you know, ow swollen ow -- so no more.
( CORRECTION! Next semester might look like this instead. )
Я не знаю что я хочу делать.
Also! Because I have all this free time now and do not know what to do with it (I was supposed to be in New Orleans this weekend, stupid paper) -- have some music, wot.
"Boy on the Moon" - The Daylights
"Hello Conscience" - The Zutons*
"Gone Are The Days" - The Magic Numbers*
"Sufragette City" (Live) - Franz Ferdinand and the Scissor Sisters - kind of sucky quality, but it makes me giggle - taken, entirely legal, from the Franz site. Fan one. Or something.
* From Help: A Day in the Life, which you should buy, because's it's for a really, really good cause, and generally awesome, and I feel sort of guilty putting songs from a charity album up on the internet. But! I am not putting up the Radiohead or the Coldplay, or the Belle and Sebastian, or the Maximo Park, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, Babyshambles (better track than most on the album, really), Damien Rice or Coral tracks... So there are still plenty of reasons to buy it. Because you're all too good of people to pirate the whole thing, right? Right?

What does next semester look like? I'll tell you what it looks like. It looks like my last semester before I get to transfer somewhere there are normal people, by which I mean abnormal people, but people I can talk to without feeling like a freak.
It also looks like:
Intermediate French 1
Intermediate Russian 1
Physical Science
Intro to Philosophy
Philosophy and Methods of Political Science
Western Political Thought 1
Contemporary World
Model U.N.
... And yes, that is a good thing, if anyone doubts it.
Subject to change, depending on what The Other University (like The Other Woman, right?) will accept as transfer credits and what it won't. I want ouuuuuuuuuuut of here. But before I go, I might let my Bible professor and C. S. Lewis re-convert me. Just a heads-up.
Edit: In which case, no, I am not giving up slash. I'm more certain that homosexuality is okay than that there is a god, so the latter is going to have to jive with the former.
